A big thank you to everyone who contributed to the Survival fund for tribal peoples that we established in Linda’s memory.
We have raised a total of 2855 pounds. Survival International have acknowledged receipt of 2,780 and I have received a further 75 pounds since. If anyone wants to add anything to this now, please pass it direct to me and I will forward it.
Survival held a special performance of extracts from their new book, We Are One, a celebration of tribal peoples, in London on April 18th. Details here. Linda thoroughly enjoyed a visit to an event they held at the British Museum a few years ago and always looked to go to another one. So I went to represent her. It was a unique occasion and very well-supported and raised a further £20,000 for the work.
