Experience

  • Professional practice in multi-disciplinary complementary health centres since 1996, in Northampton, Leicester and Wellingborough.
  • Student supervisor for the Northwest College of Homeopathy supervising students in their final year.
  • Teacher of homeopathy at Gateway College in Leicester until 2005.
  • Work in a local psychiatric hospital, working and caring for people with severe physical and mental health problems.

 

Approach

Simon takes a holistic approach to treating patients, looking at the cause of their illness and not just the symptoms. Diet, life style and family history are all taken into consideration before a homeopathic remedy is prescribed. Consultations can be lengthy and last up to 1½ hours. After the initial prescription a follow-up appointment is made usually at monthly intervals to evaluate the patient’s response to treatment. The length of treatment depends on the condition being treated and the response of the patient.

Conditions

Homeopathy is safe in the treatment of people of all ages from infants to the elderly, even pregnant mothers can use homeopathy without any risk to their unborn child. Homeopathy can be used for acute and chronic problems, such as

  • Eczema and skin problems
  • Emotional problems i.e. fears, phobias, anxiety, depression, grief
