Casa Linda in Balsa
We are setting up a new healing centre in the little village of Balsa in Galicia in north-west Spain, directly on the Camino de Santiago de Compostela, the ancient pilgrim route across northern Spain to Santiago, now walked by over 100,000 people every year.
So it won’t be a retreat exactly! Many pilgrims coming down off the mountains at this point have muscular and joint problems from the stresses of the walk. Many have emotional issues too that have prompted them to make the trip in the first place. So there’ll be plenty of work to be done.
But there will also be a quiet room for reflection and meditation and a peace garden in this beautiful valley. The project is designed to enhance healing on several levels, body, mind and spirit, and to inspire people to take back a new vision to all the different corners of the world they come from. This will be a Centre for World Peace.

Of course there's a bit of work to be done yet! The house is in need of restoration. We have made plans and are currently waiting for them to complete their journey through the bureaucratic maze. Meantime, all sorts of extraordinary things have been happening....
