What is Craniosacral Therapy?
This is a very gentle yet extremely powerful therapy that helps alleviate physical and emotional stress held in the body. It is concerned with the palpation, identification of congestion or restriction and the balancing of the craniosacral rhythm throughout the body.
What happens during Craniosacral Therapy?
You remain fully clothed. The therapist listens, via sensitive and trained hands, to what is going on in your body, and in this way identifies and relieves pains or tensions held in the body. As the body releases physical and emotional tension from past and recent stresses and trauma stored in the body, you may feel relaxed, happy, energetic, tired, sad, or even achy as self-healing takes place.
Who is it for?
This treatment can be performed on people of all ages from birth to the elderly. It helps those with a wide range of conditions including back and neck pain, headaches, migraine, PMS, digestive disorders, sinusitis, asthma, bronchitis, recurrent infections, stress, depression, fatigue, arthritis, anxiety, hyperactivity, TMJ/ jaw disorders, trigeminal neuralgia, post dental trauma and learning difficulties.

Many people have herard of the benefits of Craniosacral Therapy for babies and children. Restrictions arising during birth may result in colic, sucking problems, breathing difficulties and irritability. Babies and small children appreciate the way that Craniosacral Therapy speaks to them. It is a non-verbal language which they respond to particularly well.
