What is Homeopathy?
In homeopathy, minute doses of natural substances are given to stimulate the body’s self-healing powers. All aspects of an illness are treated - physical, mental and emotional.
What happens during Homeopathy?
You describe as fully as you can your symptoms and medical history and any problems or conflicts you are experiencing. The homeopath gets a picture of you as a whole person and then prescribes the remedy best suited to you. An initial consultation will last more than one hour. Often your case will be considered further and the remedy sent to you. Follow-up sessions are usually every month to 6 weeks and last 45 minutes. The consultations become less frequent as your health improves.
Who is it for?
As a complete system of medicine for both acute and persistent problems, homoeopathy can be successful across a wide range of conditions and with all ages. Common problems helped include negative thinking, fatigue, headaches, sinus problems, asthma and breathing problems, skin problems, IBS and digestive problems, menstrual and menopausal problems, ME and MS.
