What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis is a natural state of relaxation, which gives easier access to a number of normal mental faculties including imagination, memory and conditioned responses.
What happens during Hypnotherapy?
The therapist talks you through some simple relaxation techniques while you sit in a comfortable chair and may record the instructions on a tape for you to take home and practise. You remain awake and aware and are fully in control throughout. On subsequent sessions the therapist works with you to make the changes that you want to achieve. It is a co-operative process.
Who is it for?
Hypnotherapy can help overcome stress and anxiety problems, sleep problems, unwanted habits, lack of confidence, and physical problems such as pain and stress related conditions.
